CNEEC completes another overseas project

2016-12-22Sinomach’s subsidiary, China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd (CNEEC), completed its hydropower project in the WAMPU river region of Indonesia’s North Sumatra province.
The project is a diversion hydraulic power station which began construction on March 1, 2012. It has received praise and recognition from its owners.
CNEEC is a state-owned professional supplier of engineering related services including procurement, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contracting, design, project management and technical training. Since its establishment, CNEEC has entered into economic and trade links with over 70 countries and regions. It has accomplished diversified projects both at home and abroad.
A thermal power generation project, HONGSA Mine Mouth Power Project, constructed by China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd (CNEEC). The project was built under the Framework Agreement on Energy Cooperation between Thailand and Laos. The contract value signed by CNEEC amounted to around 11.7 billion yuan ($1.68 billion) and construction took five years. As the largest cooperation project between Thailand and Laos, as well as the largest EPC thermo-power plant exported by China, it significantly improves the influence of CNEEC in the electrical power industry.
