The project was undertaken by Sinomach subsidiary China CAMC Engineering Co Ltd (CAMCE). It has expanded one substation and built three new ones for the high voltage network.
The project will greatly improve the power supply capacity of local enterprises and promote the country's economic development, said Ould Mohamed Salah, Minister of Petroleum, Energy, and Mines.
In addition to improving power access in the region along the line, the project is also of great significance to the development of local natural gas, solar energy, wind energy and energy exports to neighboring countries.
Another subsidiary of Sinomach China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) ensured the smooth construction of power communication cables and a dispatching center building on two lots of the National Load Dispatch Center in Yamoussoukro, capital of Cote d'Ivoire.
The project, another landmark project of friendship between China and Cote d'Ivoire, was recently completed. Patrick Achi, prime minister of Cote d'Ivoire, attended the completion ceremony. It is the second national load dispatch center in Cote d'Ivoire, and has fostered more space for bilateral cooperation.
